The book narrates the history of Astana from ancient times to our days.
It is being published on the eve of the 20th anniversary celebration of the capital transfer from Almaty to Akmola (Astana).
The present edition uses archival and written materials, as well as folklore sources. The author also relied on the works of his predecessors, local historians and researchers of the history of our capital.
